Well said. Majority of the people of Nazi Germany confirmed and allowed the horrors to go forth. Milgram experiment proved conformity even if it meant inflicting harm on another person because the government told you to.
Sad reality that people behaved much like the people of Nazi Germany did during COVID. But there was hope as people stopped complying and demanded to go back to normal. Not a new normal.
